Paper Cups - Single

Will you travel along the dusty road with me? As I have been a Shepard watching over the sea And will you wait for me? As I am lonely for you Or will you run and hide from me Because my scars are all you see? And will she remember me As I fade into the dust? Will she remember me, once I've sunk into the mud? These paper cups don't hold a thing I remember, counting daisy's When I had just turned 23 And does she love me? These love me not's are given away so easily Well I remember the winter of 93 When I first felt love I guess that it wasn't meant to be And thank God cause it never would have been enough And will she remember me As I fade into the dust? Will she remember me, once I've sunk into the mud? These paper cups don't hold a thing Well slowly, I am drifting Straight thru my fate, one last chance And slowly she pulls away from me I could never ever ever make it last Well I am tired And I'm a liar so I'll vow, to never speak But I am hungry, for a love that could be Between you and me And will she remember me As I fade into the dust? Will she remember me, once I've sunk into the mud? These paper cups don't hold a thing

Well there you go again Saying what you think is true without thinking it thru Without thinking it thru And there you go again Dodging the truth Cause it doesn't feel true But hey There it goes, everyone in the show must perform They say you play the game but its not a game Every day is a choice I'm not, coming thru I'm not, coming thru I'm not, coming thru I'm not, coming thru Well there you go again Saying what you think is true without thinking it thru Without thinking it thru Well there you go again Dodging the truth Cause it doesn't feel true But hey There it goes, everyone in the show must perform They say you play the game but its not a game Every day is a choice I'm not, coming thru I'm not, coming thru I'm not, coming thru I'm not, coming thru

about

Paper Cups is the first single to the forth coming album Get In Line For Now. The song is a most direct description of Manic Love. The album is about the affects Bipolar Disorder has and had on the relationships (both romantic and non-romantic) of the Artist. The bonus track is the opening track to the album, and is about coming to terms with oneself. In essence, learning to accept and love.
